JIMMY ROSEN , PMFT
Meet Your Therapist
Hey there, I’m Jimmy. I am a Provisionally Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (PMFT).
Previously, I worked as a supervisor and wilderness guide at Red Top Meadows serving adolescent males, where my journey of helping young men and families experience a supportive and compassionate environment allowed me to learn first hand about healthy relationships.
My passion is improving the quality of life in the communities in which we live. Providing a therapeutic environment for members of our community enhances the overall mental health of the place we call home and is a part of my approach to therapy.
I am driven by a deep desire to support people in making healthy, autonomous progress in the therapeutic environment. I believe in promoting a safe, respectful, and accepting environment to promote change.
Exposure to Jackson’s unique outdoor opportunities eventually led me to my passion for outdoor education and therapy. Working in a therapeutic wilderness program, I have guided backpacking, climbing, backcountry skiing, kayaking, and mountain biking.
I am an avid pupil of the mountains and spend most of my time exploring the outdoors by any means possible. When I am not outside, you will find me with people I love and my dog Banjo.
